  • Yasmine Beydoun specializes in couples and individual therapy

    Yasmine Beydoun, LSW she/her

Hi! I'm Yasmine, a licensed social worker and therapist in Pennsylvania. I work clinically with adolescents, teenagers, and adults grappling with issues ranging from anxiety to trauma to grief and loss. Therapy creates a space to better understand ourselves and the way our past impacts our present. In sessions, I work with clients to uncover patterns that contribute to an overall feeling of dissatisfaction in life. This provides the roadmap to help clients build a life that feels full, joyful, and meaningful. Clients tell me that I am warm, non-judgemental, and bring a welcome sense of humor into sessions. Therapy can be hard work. But it is work that I love doing and something that I take very seriously. My practice is informed by my interest in psychology, sociology, anthropology, and feminist studies. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Brown University and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. In the past decade, I have lived in Senegal, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Lebanon, and I bring a multicultural perspective into the therapeutic space. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy cooking, mountain climbing, going to comedy shows, and sampling as many carrot cakes as Philadelphia has to offer. I live with my cat, Kylo, who is equal parts grumpy and adorable.

  • Alicia Chatterjee, M.S.Ed, LSW she/her

My therapeutic work is grounded in a compassionate and relational style and an unconditional respect for the people I sit with. I approach therapy from a social justice perspective, where I understand both trauma and healing to be rooted in the context in which we live. I think of healing as a process made possible by building loving connection with self, others, and the world. My practice is also informed by my experience as a mindfulness facilitator and trauma-informed yoga teacher, and in therapy we will think together about how emotions live and move in the body. I work with everyone, but specialize in work with trauma, anxiety and grief, surviving intimate and sexual violence, identity (especially with people of color, mixed-race people, and queer and trans community), chronic illness and disability, and in support work with activists, students, and healers. I look forward to welcoming you however you arrive! In addition to being a licensed clinical social worker, I am also nearing the end of a PhD program in social welfare and spend my free time at the ocean, doing jiu jitsu, reading feminist sci fi, and daydreaming with my friends.

  • Noha El Toukhy, LPC she/her

My focus is on fostering a robust and collaborative connection with you. Understanding the impact of your cultural background on your thoughts and behaviors is crucial to me. I will work with you to uncover the root patterns contributing to any distress you may be experiencing. Clients tell me that I am warm, non-judgemental, and play a supportive role in their lives. In the past decade, I have lived in Cairo, and the United States, bringing a multicultural lens into the therapeutic space. I speak fluent Arabic, French and German and have a passion for work with Middle Eastern and Muslim clients. Outside of my profession, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching Friends and running!

Therapy should feel safe, grounding, and intentional. I enjoy forms of therapy that emphasize the power of self-determination while acknowledging the impact of systemic and institutional pressures. I have a strengths-based approach to exploring identity, boundary setting, harm reduction, and pleasure. As a gender-non-conforming clinician, I feel strongly that every person deserves access to affirming medical and mental health care. My focus has been providing youth and LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families with an accepting place to explore their lives, relationships, and goals. In addition to individual counseling, I serve on a social work team at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I work with adolescents and adults in PA.

  • Haley Mills specializes in couples and individual therapy

    Haley Mills, LSW she/her

In therapy, I have found that if trust and care are authentically established, healing can come naturally, and with ease. Much of my professional work has focused on loss and life transitions. I hold a systems-based framework, attuning to the complexities of the individual and their placement in the world. Interpersonally, this includes using an anti-oppressive lens when exploring relationships and ourselves, giving voice and care to parts of self that have been overlooked or overwhelmed. My approach is informed by psychodynamic, mindfulness, somatic, and attachment-based theories. I aim to create a collaborative, warm, and engaged space, where I can learn about your life, and we can talk through it together. . I see adults in PA and DE via telehealth and at my office in center city Philadelphia

  • Shoshana Trager, LCSW she/her

My therapeutic approach is guided by Psychodynamic Theory, which helps us evaluate childhood experiences, Attachment Theory, which focuses on how we tend to show up and react in our relationships, and Motivational Interviewing, which helps us disrupt patterns of behavior that don’t serve us. We’ll explore how different systems (work, school, family, relationships, institutions etc.) affect one another and identify where you need the most support. My couples therapy is informed by my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which explores our emotional experiences contributing to conflict and the connection with our attachment styles. These strategies for the work we do together will be challenging, insightful, and supportive. I welcome individuals to bring in all parts of themselves to our work and I like to infuse humor into the room to make space for joy while sitting in the muck. All of this will be done with compassion and the opportunity to leave shame at the door or wrestle with it together. I see adults and adolescents in PA and DE via telehealth and at my office in center city Philadelphia.
