Yasmine Beydoun, LSW
Hi! I'm Yasmine, a licensed social worker and therapist in Pennsylvania. I work clinically with adolescents, teenagers, and adults grappling with issues ranging from anxiety to trauma to grief and loss. Therapy creates a space to better understand ourselves and the way our past impacts our present. In sessions, I work with clients to uncover patterns that contribute to an overall feeling of dissatisfaction in life. This provides the roadmap to help clients build a life that feels full, joyful, and meaningful. Clients tell me that I am warm, non-judgemental, and bring a welcome sense of humor into sessions. Therapy can be hard work. But it is work that I love doing and something that I take very seriously. My practice is informed by my interest in psychology, sociology, anthropology, and feminist studies. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Brown University and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. In the past decade, I have lived in Senegal, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Lebanon, and I bring a multicultural perspective into the therapeutic space. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy cooking, mountain climbing, going to comedy shows, and sampling as many carrot cakes as Philadelphia has to offer. I live with my cat, Kylo, who is equal parts grumpy and adorable.
